The Heart of Sustainable Development

Those living in poverty face abject and dehumanising conditions. With global economic crisis and the resultant extreme poverty, the task of eradicating poverty in every form continues to be one of the greatest challenges facing humanity.
This session will equip lawyers to consider the various elements that contribute to poverty and how they can, in their practice, seek to alleviate poverty directly or indirectly.

Peer to Peer Learning

Given the wide reaching nature of poverty, this session will invite participants to learn from the other international attendees, particularly those already tackling poverty in the development sector. Through this professional networking opportunity, the session will enable participants to connect with others, in order to do their part to join the global fight against poverty.
